WHAT DRIVES ME 

​

I have been a social activist close to 40 years mainly in the area of gender equality and religious tolerance.

 

For the past 10 years I have been involved in the dauntless battle of "Women of The Wall", a group of Jewish women from Israel and around the world, who strive to attain gender equality at the Western Wall (Kotel) in Jerusalem, Israel.

My life's  work to better the world, by fighting for weaker or disenfranchised populations has influenced my painting, especially in my choice of topics and subject matters.

I started painting over ten years ago using various techniques from acrylic to pastel to oil paintings which I am currently focused on. In my painting I use my very personal angle to enhance my art with a unique array of colors and brush work.
